Entropy is a measure of the disorder of a system and this ongoing series, based on the disastrous Victorian bush fires of 2009, presents images of the devastating effects of the inferno and the process of ecological regeneration. Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, regrowth and regeneration emerge from charred remains. Beauty and hope is born from the horror but the environmental trauma is palpable.
