Suspended in time and in motion, native blooms unfurl amongst ambiguous fluid, their forms simultaneously prominent and obscured. Helen Pynor’s Milk series presents medicinal plants used by the Dharawal people of the Sydney and Illawarra region of New South Wales to explore the blurring of any essential distinction between the cultural and the biological.
