This course runs over two weekends
A research-based documentary photography course delivered over two weekends spanning one month. Participants will explore portraiture and landscapes to present ideas on humans connection to the land.
This documentary course delves into the connection between people and the land. Delivered by award winning documentary and portrait photographer Aletheia Casey, participants will develop an understanding of slow documentary intended to provide new perspectives and deeper engagement with subject matter.
This research based course will have participants investigate their project to create a body of work that explores a holistic approach to its presentation, incorporating text, objects and photography.
Prerequisites and Requirements
- Camera Craft 2, or relevant experience
- Bring your own DSLR, SLR or Mirrorless (MILC) camera (charged batteries and memory card). If you are unsure please search your camera brand and model for clarification
- 6 - 10 prints or files that you feel best represents your work
- Note book and pen
