Camera Craft 3Steven Cavanagh
This course runs at the same time every week over five weeks
Camera Craft 3 is designed to introduce interested and passionate photographers to working within genre. Each week you will investigate a new genre, gaining valuable insight and experience only made possible by photographing in the field.
You will be given instruction and helpful advice about refining your camera skills and how to approach your photography with a view to creating interesting and engaging stories. You will be given the time to develop a small series of images based on the genre of your choice and be given a guest lecture on flash photography.
Every week an assignment will be set and your images will be reviewed in the following class. Participants will also partake in discussion in relation to various historical and contemporary images to help with your understanding of style and genre, and to develop a critical eye.
This course is for participants keen to develop their style and approach to their work, and looking to engage in long-term practice.
Prerequisites and Requirements
- Camera Craft 2, or relevant experience
- Bring your own DSLR or Mirrorless (MILC) camera (charged batteries and memory card). If you are unsure please search your camera brand and model for clarification
- Note book and pen
