Gate 7, 1666 Pacific Highway

Wahroonga NSW 2076

Join curator Casuarina Bird and multidisciplinary artist Shan Turner-Carroll for an in-depth look at Relics presented in partnership with the Grace Cossington Smith Gallery.

The first solo presentation of Turner-Carroll’s work in Sydney, Relics combines new installations with several key bodies of work to explore themes such as self-discovery, immigration, globalisation, and our interaction with the natural world and each other.

Turner-Carroll will discuss the integral and multi-functional role of the camera in his practice and the motivation, that art has a meaningful and active role within our contemporary, industrial, and globalised societies.
