Led by respected commercial and documentary photographer Martin Mischkulnig, Stories & Projects will introduce participants to long-form visual storytelling.
Featuring industry professional guest speakers this 5-week course will prepare you to produce and publish your own cohesive visual narrative.
Drawing on his experience producing Smalltown, a photobook created in partnership with Tim Winton, Martin will take participants through approaches to project-based work, providing access to professionals and resources to assist participants to develop and deliver considered body of work.
Participants will work on developing a project over the duration of the course and be encouraged to embrace collaboration with their peers and other photographic professionals.
This course runs at the same time, every week over 5 weeks with a maximum class size of 8 participants.
Prerequisites and Requirements
- Camera Craft 2, or relevant experience
- Note book and pen
- Examples of your own work and/or images from the project you are looking to develop.
