Sue Murray has worked as a commercial photographer for over 30 years, earning a reputation for her specialisation in interior architectural work. She has worked for interior designers, architects, property development, high-end real estate properties and retail furniture stores.

Sue studied at the National Art School and the Rhode Island School of Design. She lectured at University and TAFE whilst completing a Master of Fine Arts at College of Fine Art, Uni NSW. Sue has been exhibiting since the mid 1990’s in both group and solo exhibitions as well as undertaking commissioned projects including National Museum, Canberra as well as Liverpool and Bankstown Hospitals.

Throughout her career Sue has been awarded numerous grants & commissions from public organisations to develop creative projects with a diversity of community groups. “Bordered Lives” a photographic project with young people living in temporary accommodation was exhibited in Bus Shelters in Sydney CBD and The Australian Museum, Sydney. With funding from Australia Council, Sue developed the Imagine Me photographic project working creatively with people with spinal cord injury.

Sue continues a commercial architectural photographic practise, along with her creative art practise and commissioned projects with community groups.
