The Australian Centre for Photography (ACP) is the leading national organisation dedicated to photography and lens based media.

The ACP is the leading advocate for photography and photographers. The ACP provides national services including access to affordable education and programs, free exhibitions and events, research and publications. The ACP develops programs that engage diverse audiences in a dynamic conversation about the role photography plays in visual culture.

Some of the ACP's most recent achievements include:

Digital literacy programs including Photo Faction, developed to aid students from select Western Sydney schools to look at fact versus fiction in online environments using images as a focal point.

Our School Selfie program reached to regional schools across Australia and was awarded a Highly Commended, Engagement Programs at the IMAGinE Awards 2016.

The ACP celebrated International Women's Day with a self-portraiture workshop culminating in an exhibition with Woollahra Council.

The ACP continues to support emerging talent through the annual student show Photostart and a new publication Photostart Annual.

The ACP is the publisher of Photofile, Australia’s leading photography journal since 1983.

Please help us to continue to provide these programs and more by donating safely here.
