Join Australian Centre for Photography workshop tutor Marco Bok over two days Saturday 30 September and Sunday 1 October (10am to 4pm) for an introduction to the history of street photography and draw inspiration from masters such as William Eggleston, Diane Arbus, Robert Frank, Garry Winogrand and William Klein.
Participants will discuss techniques for working candidly and unobtrusively in public places. Participants will work as a group to refine their ideas to develop a project with the intention of selecting one image to print and display in the Cowra Library.
This workshop is ideal for individuals with a sound knowledge of using a digital camera and photographic experience who are keen to explore visual story-telling through photography.
Students to bring:
- your own DSLR or Mirrorless (MILC) camera (charged batteries and memory card) and a notebook and pen
- examples of their own street photography and/or street photography by another photographer that they like
