The year just past
Thank you for your support for 2014. What a year it has been!
This year we re-branded thanks to the amazing Stephen Goddard at Project Two. ACP launched our new website, working with the talented team at Platformer, including our very own ACP channel and blog Photo Social.
Some extra highlights include, welcoming international artists Robert Knoth and Antoinette de Jong to Sydney and seeing Ashley Gilbertson's series Bedrooms of the Fallen selected as one of TIME Magazine's Photobooks of the Year. We also enjoyed a successful panel discussion with Prof. Geoffrey Batchen, Associate Prof. Susan Best and curator Isobel Parker Philip on our current exhibition Anne Ferran's Shadow Land. This exquisite exhibition will shepherd us into 2015, followed by a wonderful program of exhibitions, events and courses.
A huge thank you to all 2014 exhibiting artists and Key Sponsors; 4 Pines, Yangarra, Aesop and Camera Pro, and Media Partner Time Out Sydney.
Don't forget ACP will be closed from December 22nd until January 5th, with the galleries reopening on Tuesday the 6th of January 2015.
The year to come
Next year is shaping up to be our most exciting yet! We are thrilled to exhibit internationally acclaimed contemporary artist Christian Thompson, and the group show Dear Sylvia. Nine female photomedia artists from Australia, UK, USA, France and The Netherlands, explore some of the many ways of representing the female body in this beautiful new exhibition.
Next year will also see the introduction of many new courses including Cinemagraphs Intensive with Christian Blanchard, The Nude with Fiona Wolf-Symeonides and Creating Photobooks in the 21st Century Intensive with Stephen Dupont and Marshall Weber.
We hope you have a fantastic festive season and we look forward to seeing you again in 2015!
