Photo of the Week - 24.10.14
By Belinda Hungerford
Imagine a time where cities are emptied of human life and nature reclaims its previous dominion. With her series The City, Lori Nix creates a post-apocalyptic world in miniscule dioramas to do just that. Each diorama takes seven months to construct and another two weeks to shoot on her 8x10 large-format camera. The results are painstakingly accurate and eerie.
