Exhibition Opening: See My Story project at Alexandria Park Community School

The exhibition of Alexandria Park students' students photography and creative writing is up!

All school students, teachers and staff had the opportunity to see the diverse and creative images and writing that came out of our workshops with Flashpoint Labs and Sydney Story Factory.

Students helped install the exhibition throughout the halls at Alexandria Park Community School last week with the exhibition opening with much fanfare on Tuesday the 8 December 2015.

ACP, Flashpoint Labs and Sydney Story Factory had the great honour of attending a special assembly with all students involved in the workshops from years 5 through 7 where selected students read their poems and short stories, and a watched a slideshow of the images produced.

It was thrilling to watch students' passion and excitement in hanging their works and truly rewarding to see both staff and students enjoying and commenting on the works once they were up.

Thank you again to the devoted group of volunteers who have been involved in delivery of this project, allowing for one-on-one encouragement in all aspects of the workshops. A big thank you to our partners Flashpoint Labs and Sydney Story Factory as well as Alexandria Park Community School for making this project possible.
