ACP's 10 Top Instagram Accounts for 2015

It's the season for reflection on the year that was and we've rounded up ACP's Top Instagram Accounts for 2015. Listed in no particular order, the following Instagram photographers are sure to keep your feed interesting as you snap away into the New Year!

Katrin Koenning@k_koenning

An ACP Takeover artist for 2015, and listed as a favourite by Alec Soth for TIME Magazine, Katrin Koenning has been taking Instagram by storm. Pouring through her feed it is easy to see why; Koenning's luscious videos and bursts of light are enough to get us spellbound. In the words of Soth, Koenning's feed is "consistent aesthetic bliss".

Born and raised in Singapore, Nguan's medium format photos capture city life and everyday observations through a lens of pastel hues. Moving back and forth between major cities, the images express a globalised longing, awkwardness, and emptiness worth watching.

Zan Wimberley | @zanwimberley

Often flying between Sydney and Melbourne as a part of her role as an arts documenter, Zan Wimberley's Instagram posts regularly give glimpses into Australian visual and performing arts projects. She also shares sneak peeks and finalised images from her own accomplished arts practice.

Bryan Shutmaat@bryanschutmaat

Shooting to fame with his work Grays the Mountain Sends, you can continue to follow Bryan Schutmaat's projects and general wanderings of American vistas on Instagram. Schutmaat's feed and commissioned work will make even the most weary traveller want to hit the road.

Esther Teichmann@estherteichmann

German-American artist Esther Teichmann provides compelling snippets into her process on Instagram. From printing her mural-sized images, to installation and the book press, Teichmann's feed is definitely worth a follow.

Adam Ferguson@adamfergusonphoto

An independent photographer based in Sydney, Adam Ferguson's Instagram feed documents his commissions and personal projects. With Assignments from the likes of TIME Magazine, National Geographic and The New York Times, Ferguson's images move across vastly different countries and continents. At the moment, Ferguson is preparing for a book on the war in Afghanistan.

Joe Ruckli | @__skippy__

Based in Brisbane, Queensland, photographer Joe Ruckli's Instagram provides clever and poetic daily observations. Don't be quick to scroll past his hypnotic videos; they're always worth a second play.

Sam Edmonds@samedmondsphoto

An Australian documentary photographer, Sam Edmonds contributes at Corbis Images and has worked with a number of NGOs in South-East Asia, Antarctica and Europe. At the moment Edmonds is based and sharing images from British Columbia.

Heidi Romano@heidiromano

When Heidi Roman isn't acting as Co-Founder of Photobook Melbourne, Editor of Unless You Will, or designing photobooks, you will most likely find her here. Lately Romano's feed has been filled with images of lumen printing experiments and we've enjoyed watching her progress!

Alma Haser@almahaser

Featured in the ACP's Dear Sylvia exhibition from earlier this year, Alma Haser is a paper and photographic artist based in London and the East Coast. Filled with bright and playful images, Haser's Instagram is a quirky and captivating delight.
